The community will soon have access to a disabled pool hoist.
The hoist has been paid for from money raised by the charity CPR and will be available to owners who book the hoist via administration.
The cost of the hoist is nearly 6000 euros and will be maintained with the remaining money that the charity raised.
The hoist is an electric chair hoist that enables the user to bring the hoist to any pool with the person in it or to transfer them to the chair once at the pool.
A special thanks must go to the Francis family on Jardines 3 who alone raised over 1000 euros towards the hoist as they have a disabled son Max and realised that the resort needed this piece of equipment.
The hoist will be allocated on a booking system through the admin, it will delivered to the apartment and training given on its use.
Many thanks to, Lynn Simpson and the Condado Club, the Francis family and the Ladies Coffee Morning who all raised extra money towards this project as well as the kind people who contributed to such a worthy cause.
