The design of Saurines Golf by Nicklaus Design has great similarities to the desert style golf courses of Las Vegas and Arizona but with a philosophy on links golf. Its character is undulating fairways placed between dunes of sand with impressive rolling greens. This course has very few bunkers but it does have a very large centrally placed lake that comes in to play on many holes.

Since its opening in 2011 it has already become a symbol of the entire area.
