Community Information: NUDIST BEACHES

The Region of Murcia also has an important number of naturist beaches which are extraordinarily beautiful. They allow you to enjoy and respect nature, and to discover many wild areas. They are usually small beaches or isolated coves to which you can arrive by car.

CARTAGENA

Playa Morena (El Portús) - Morena Beach (El Portús)

Quiet, semi-urban pebble beach, medium occupancy and medium level equipments. It is just 11km away from Cartagena and next to 'El Portús' Naturist Campsite. Not accessible for disabled; there is a bus stop. It has a kiosk, foot-washing station, walkway, toilet and first aid and lifeguard station, open 11am to 7pm from July 1st to August 31st.


MAZARRÓN

Naturism is allowed on this beach and some nearby beaches (10km as a whole). It has no facilities since it is a wild beach. Accessed from Bolnuevo, through a track that goes around the Sierra de las Moreras protected area, a volcanic spot which left its traces on the ground's orography. It was Spain's first beach declared to be naturist, more than 30 years ago.

Naturism is allowed on this beach It is located in a natural environment. It does not have any type of services, it is a wild beach. It shows an average occupancy rate.
