Denuncia (fines) reporting scheme to be introduced at Condado de Alhama
21 Jun 2024 - Alan Burge

This summer our security company, Vigilant, is to introduce a denuncia/reporting process which will allow them to make reports about people who breach certain aspects of the law/local regulations. These reports will then be presented to the Alhama Town Hall who will decide whether or not to issue a fine to the individual concerned for the reported breach.

This is the first time that we will be able to apply a sanction to individuals who choose not to abide by the rules and regulations that are there for all of us and which the majority choose to comply with.

The ‘offences’ that tickets will be issued for relate to parking and dogs.

For vehicles, reports can be made for:

Vehicle is stopped or parked on or near a curve with reduced visibility.

Vehicle stopped or parked on a pedestrian crossing or double parked.

Vehicle stopped or parked in a place whose width does not allow the circulation of vehicles in the same or opposite direction.

Vehicle is stopped or parked on pavements, verges or garden, occupying them totally or partially.

Vehicle is stopped or parked in areas specifically reserved for loading and unloading, repairs, cleaning, or administratively authorised for different purposes, occupied or not.

Vehicle is stopped or parked in front of vehicle entrance marked with authorised permanent entrance.

Vehicle is parked in a disabled parking space without an authorised card.

For dogs reports can be made for:

Failure to remove excrement from public roads or landscaped areas.

Walking the dog without a leash.

Entering children's play areas with animals.

Leaving pets on patios, terraces, balconies, emitting noise that disturbs the rest or tranquillity of neighbours.

Finding a potentially dangerous dog without a muzzle

Letting a potentially dangerous animal loose or not having taken the necessary measures to prevent it escaping or getting lost.

Walking a potentially dangerous animal in parks and gardens.

Lacking a municipal licence to keep potentially dangerous animals.
