News: Use of the swimming pools

There have been widespread complaints about the state of the swimming pool beaches in recent days. The problem of dirt in both the pools and pool areas is related to what has been said about the irrigation water. The decrease in irrigation has affected not only the general state of the lawn but also the good development of the reseeded areas. As a result, the sand from the reseeding has not been covered by the grass and there is also a greater quantity of fine materials in the gardens surrounding the swimming pools.

STV has increased the staff cleaning these areas to do it more frequently and that will help. Nevertheless, to ensure that the tiled area is kept clean as long as possible, we advise residents to wear appropriate footwear when walking in the garden area and to take their shoes off only when they are next to the tiled area, leaving them on the garden side. This avoids soil and sand from the lawn dressing being transferred to the tiled area and the swimming pool. We also remind residents that the use of a shower before bathing is compulsory and particularly advisable in this situation.
