NOTE:
- It has been decided to establish the irrigation frequency of 1 day/week because during the month of December there is no water supply from the WWTP and only industrial water continues to be received. At the same time, during the month of December and the coming months, the water needs of plant species will decrease.
- This adjustment in the number of days corresponds to a normal schedule to cover the water needs of the lawn during the winter months (December). During the month of December, the water demands of plant species are lower than those needed during the summer, from May to September, but, even so, they are still medium and even high water needs, since the absence of rainfall and high average temperatures cause water stress for ornamental species.
- The objective is to cover the water needs of ornamental species that have not been covered during the summer months due to the lack of availability of irrigation water and to try to recover their vitality from the species (grass, shrubs, palm trees, trees, etc.) before the arrival of winter.
- In turn, every morning the irrigation team will check the irrigation system for each of the gardens to observe if there have been any deficiencies in the irrigation system and repair them, such as, for example, the replacement of diffuser emitters or the repair of leaks.
- Finally, this change in irrigation scheduling can be modified, either because at some point there is not enough irrigation water supply or because there is heavy rainfall and it is not necessary to use irrigation water to cover the water needs of ornamental species.
