- It has been decided to establish the watering frequency at 3 days/week because during the month of April, spring watering is planned to begin once the rainfall expected for the first week of April has ended. Additionally, the number of watering days and their duration may increase as the month of April progresses and as tasks like scarifying and reseeding advance.
- This adjustment in the number of days corresponds to a normal schedule to meet the water needs of the grass during the spring months (April). In April, the water requirements are moderate to high, as the absence of rainfall and the elevated average temperatures cause water stress in ornamental species.
- The goal is to meet the water needs of ornamental species that were not covered during the summer months due to the lack of irrigation water availability, and to try to restore the vitality of the species (grass, shrubs, palm trees, trees, etc.) before the arrival of summer.
- In turn, each morning, the irrigation team will check the irrigation system in each garden to observe if there are any deficiencies in the system and repair them, such as replacing emitter nozzles or fixing leaks.
- Finally, this change in the irrigation schedule may be modified either because, at a certain point, there is not enough irrigation water supply or because heavy rainfall occurs, making it unnecessary to use irrigation water to meet the water needs of ornamental species.
