TV SERVICES
9 May 2025 - inmho

Dear homeowners,

We would like to inform you that, as of Monday 12 May 2025, there will be a change in the technical services responsible for the tuning of television channels in our community. Our current service provision provides one fulltime engineer for Condado, but as Condado gets busier it is important that this service is prioritized to deal with internet, TV and phone faults rather than help people set in their TVs. This service has previously been provided free by Elitesa due to the availability of the on-site engineer which is now becoming more of a demand. Below you will find details of how to tune your TV and please be assured the engineer is still available for any TV faults or issues regarding TV reception.

Should you have any issues or difficulties with your TV tuning please call admin at 868089724 or email them at alhama@inmho.es.

How to tune channels on your TV set

If your TV has a built-in DVB-T tuner:

1. Connect the UHF antenna (cable). Make sure that the antenna is properly connected to the antenna input port (ANT IN) on the back of the TV.

2. Turn on the TV and access the menu. Use the remote control to switch on the TV and press the ‘Menu’ or ‘Home’ button to access the main menu.

3. Select the channel settings option. Navigate through the menu until you find the option ‘Channel Setup’, ‘Tuning’ or similar, and select it.

4. Choose automatic channel scan. Within the tuning options, select ‘Auto Scan’ or ‘Auto Tune’. This will allow the TV to search for and store all available channels.

5. Wait for the search to finish. The process may take several minutes. Once completed, the TV will display the list of channels found.

6. Save channels and exit the menu. Confirm to save the tuned channels and exit the setup menu.

If your TV requires an external DTT decoder:

1. Connect the set-top box to the TV. Use an HDMI or RCA cable to connect the set-top box to the TV. Make sure that both devices are switched off during the connection.

2. Connect the UHF antenna to the set-top box. Plug the antenna into the antenna input port on the set-top box.

3. Turn on the set-top box and the TV set. Switch on both devices and select the input on the TV set that corresponds to the set-top box (e.g. HDMI1).

4. Access the set-top box menu. Use the remote control of the set-top box to access the main menu.

5. Start the channel search. Within the menu, select the ‘Auto Scan’ or ‘Auto Tune’ option. The decoder will start scanning and storing the available channels.

6. Wait and save channels. Once the search is finished, save the found channels according to the instructions of the decoder.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this transition process.

Yours sincerely,
