It has been decided to establish a watering frequency of 5 days/week because during the month of June we intend to continue with spring watering. Also, the number of days and watering time will be increased as June progresses and scarification and reseeding work advances.
This adjustment in the number of days corresponds to a normal schedule to cover the water needs of the lawn during the spring-summer months (June). During the month of June, water needs are moderate to high, as the absence of rainfall and high average temperatures cause water stress in ornamental species.
The aim is to meet the water needs of ornamental species that have not been met during the summer months due to the lack of irrigation water and to try to restore the vitality of the species (lawns, shrubs, palm trees, trees, etc.) before the arrival of summer.
In turn, each morning the irrigation team will check the irrigation system in each of the gardens to see if there are any deficiencies in the irrigation system and repair them, such as replacing emitters in the diffusers or repairing leaks.
Finally, this change in the irrigation schedule may be modified, either because at a certain point in time there is not enough water available for irrigation or because there is heavy rainfall and it is not necessary to use irrigation water to meet the water needs of the ornamental species
