News: Update on Tourist Use Properties

Dear Condado de Alhama owners,

At the request of the Board, we are contacting you to update you on the situation regarding holiday rentals and obtaining the relevant licences.

During the meetings held last summer, the item relating to the authorisation of the Community to allow members to use their properties for tourist purposes was approved. However, the correct implementation of the above requires the convening of an Extraordinary General Meeting to vote on the amendment of the Statutes. The latter depends, in turn, on the receipt of a report on how to make the statutory amendment so that it can be officially registered.

At present, it is not known when this document will be received. However, at a meeting held last Thursday with the Land Registrar of Alhama de Murcia, he said he was giving priority to resolving this matter.
