News: Jardines II - PREPARATION OF THE 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL ASEMBLY

18 Dec 2025 - Condado de Alhama

Dear residents of Jardines 2,

By means of this notice, we inform you that the Presidency of Jardines 2 has begun working on the preparation of our community’s 2026 Annual Ordinary Assembly.

The objective is to have the information package and the voting items ready no later than 22 December 2025, as the Christmas holidays will then begin, probably until after 6 January, and we do not want what happens every year to occur again, namely having to rush because the documentation could not be fully prepared before the Christmas period. We hope that this year will be different, and for the better.

For this reason, I invite you to submit, before 22 December, either through your Level 3 presidents (Jardines 7 to 13) or through the administrators (Inmho), those matters which, with common sense and moderation, you consider appropriate to propose.

All proposals received before 22 December will be studied and discussed by the members of the Jardines 2 Board of Directors (the Level 3 presidents of Jardines 7 to 13) in order to determine which of these proposals will be taken to the 2026 Assembly to be voted on by all owners.

On 18 December, an extraordinary Level 1 assembly will take place, at which it is intended to vote on the date of the 2026 Annual Ordinary Assembly, which would be the weekend of 13 to 15 March and the weekend of 20 to 22 March for those communities that choose the two-weekend assembly format.

On the other hand, I would like to inform you in advance that the assembly model we intend to implement in 2026 will be the same as the one already organised in 2025; that is, a first weekend (Saturday or Sunday) for an EXCLUSIVELY INFORMATIONAL assembly, where all voting and information items will be presented, and sufficient time will be given to all attendees in the in-person format to ask questions, comment, debate and receive appropriate answers to all their concerns; and a second assembly, properly speaking, the following weekend (Saturday or Sunday), EXCLUSIVELY FOR VOTING on the Level 1, Urban Development Entity and Jardines 2 voting items that were previously presented and discussed at the informational assembly held the previous weekend.

This assembly format worked very well in February 2025 and was well received by the owners who attended one or both assemblies, who commented that they liked it because, in the first part, the informational assembly, there was more than enough time to discuss everything that needed to be discussed and clarified.

This assembly model made it possible, unlike in previous years, to significantly reduce the duration of the assemblies, meaning that attendees did not leave before the end of the meetings, as used to happen before, and they had the opportunity to intervene at different times to address their concerns. In addition, it is a very flexible participation system, since all those who usually reside outside the Region of Murcia have the option of attending both assemblies in person, attending only one of them, or attending online and in real time, as both assemblies are broadcast live. It also allows several days between both assemblies in order to deliberate, reflect, discuss what has been addressed with other trusted people, even ask last-minute questions for those who are more undecided, and thus ensure better decision-making and voting accordingly, with more and better elements of judgement and information.

On the other hand, each year it becomes more necessary to resort to a different formula for holding the assemblies, as Level 2 communities continue to grow with the construction of new buildings and homes. This will eventually lead to a situation where it will no longer be possible to organise everything in a single weekend, as assemblies would need to start increasingly earlier, even on days prior to the weekend, when many people are unable to attend due to work commitments.

Prior to these assemblies, as every year, the information package and voting items will be sent in order to keep all owners informed before the assemblies take place, for all those who, for different reasons, wish to vote in advance by email, or wish to delegate their vote to someone in our community to represent them at these assemblies.

To the documentation sent in advance, a Questions and Answers (Q&A) system will be added so that, before the assemblies take place, all owners who wish to do so may submit their questions or doubts and receive responses with sufficient time, so that when they attend the assemblies or vote by email, they do so as well and as fully informed as possible.

When the time comes, presumably at the beginning of 2026, the relevant notices will be sent out, together with the necessary documentation (information packages, email voting forms, proxy voting forms, etc.).

Until then, please accept a cordial greeting and do not stop taking an interest in your community, your property, and everything that directly or indirectly has an impact on Jardines 2, on the value of our community, and on the value of your homes. A community that becomes degraded and declines due to a lack of participation will result in the value of all our homes no longer being the same.

The President of Jardines 2
Juan Manuel
