News: Emergency Telephone
Dear residents,
We are writing to clarify and remind you of the current procedure for using the emergency telephone number in Alhama County, as recent enquiries indicate that this information has not been adequately communicated to all residents.
In case of emergency, call the Alhama office on 0034 868 08 97 24 and press option 1.
In the past, there was an emergency mobile phone number, used by the previous administration for some resorts, at no additional cost. However, this number is no longer operational, although some people continue to try to use it. This system also had the disadvantage that if the person in charge of the mobile phone was unavailable, the call would be lost.
This new system has been in place for approximately one year and is the official and only procedure established for all owners. It has already been used successfully on several occasions by various residents.
In addition, the telephone message has recently been revised, as some issues with the English message were detected and have now been corrected.
We would like to emphasise that a single emergency telephone number has been established with the aim of unifying communication into a single channel, improving service and facilitating management for both owners and responsible staff.
We hope that this statement will serve to clarify this matter definitively. As always, any suggestions for improvement and reports of incidents arising during use are welcome, but we insist that this is the procedure currently in force for dealing with emergencies.
Kind regards,
