News: Jardines II - Security alert regarding natural fires

Dear residents of Condado de Alhama,

From our community's security committee, we are issuing the following security alert regarding the HIGH risk of fires caused by the lack of clearing of the dry vegetation that is abundant these days in the open areas of the land in Condado de Alhama, both in the outer and inner ring.

The Urban Entity has asked for the Administration send a request for clearing and cleaning of scrub and dry grass to all owners of undeveloped plots in Condado de Alhama.

Similarly, some photographs are attached showing the current state of the wild vegetation located along all the Penthouse blocks of Naranjos 1 and Naranjos 2, between the rear terraces and the edge of the golf course, at a distance of about 2 or 3 meters from said mass of dry vegetation and the private terraces.

On the other hand, it is also warned of the DANGER of throwing glass bottles and even broken glass onto these surfaces of dry combustible material, since these glass pieces act as a magnifying glass and cause the sun's rays that hit them to start fires that can spread rapidly.

We remind everyone that until the summer reinforcement staff arrives, which will be fully operational from July 1st, we only have ONE PATROL GUARD to be able to react to any outbreak of fire and attend to all types of emergency calls in a community of more than 3,000 homes.
