News: ACTIONS TAKEN REGARDING THE PRESENCE OF RODENTS

The General Community of Owners of Condado de Alhama has informed Alhama de Murcia Town Council of the situation involving the presence and spread of rodents in areas close to several plots where earthmoving, excavation and/or demolition works are being carried out.

On 8th September 2026, a formal request was submitted to the Town Council for an urgent technical and sanitary inspection of the affected and neighbouring areas. It has also been requested that, where appropriate, those responsible for the works be required to immediately implement cleaning measures, integrated pest control and rodent control through a specialised company.

The Community will remain attentive to the Town Council’s response and to any measures agreed, and will keep owners and residents informed of any relevant developments.

Cooperation from All Residents

In order to help prevent the situation from worsening, we would like to remind everyone of the importance of ensuring that all rubbish is deposited correctly inside the designated bins, keeping their lids closed and avoiding leaving bags, food waste or any other rubbish outside them.

Everyone’s cooperation is essential to maintaining Condado de Alhama in appropriate conditions of cleanliness, hygiene and health, and to reducing anything that may attract rodents.
