News: Jardines II - URGENT Notice! Important Recommendations Regarding the Presence of Rodents

Dear residents,

Due to the earthworks carried out on the golf course, the natural habitat of rodents has been altered. This has led to an increase in their presence in different areas of the Resort, including our community.

At Jardines II, we have contracted a full rodent‑control service, which is being carried out from the 7th to the 13th of this month, just as it was previously done in Jardines 1 between jardines 1 and 5.

The technicians confirm that the treatment is working correctly and that the activity recorded in the traps demonstrates its effectiveness.

To prevent proliferation, it is essential that all residents collaborate by following these recommendations:

- Waste management — Do not leave rubbish in private gardens.

- When disposing of organic waste in the containers, always place it inside the container.

- If, exceptionally, you must leave it outside, it must be properly sealed to prevent animals from becoming accustomed to a constant food source.

- Pet food — Do not leave food outdoors. Rodents also feed on leftovers intended for pets.

- Birds and water containers — If you keep birds, place them at height and keep feeding areas clean. Do not place water containers outdoors.

- If a rodent enters your home — If a rat enters your property, open the doors so it can leave without feeling cornered, avoiding defensive reactions.

In the coming weeks, the incidence will begin to decrease as the treatment progresses and the environment stabilises.
